Regional Metamorphic and Tectonic Studies

To study the evolution of the crust of the Earth during orogenesis, you must go where the rocks are: to mountain belts. Over the years, we have studied crustal evolution in the Alps, New England, New Mexico, southern Chile, British Columbia, the Mojave desert, the Adirondacks of New York, the Cyclades of Greece, and the Caledonides of Norway.
