Price is Director of Teaching Laboratories and Facilities and a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. His research areas include the chemical properties and processes of rock-forming silicates, including those that may form asbestosform morphologies.
